Toddler Sleep Training

Why isn't my child tired? Will they always need me to go to sleep? Why do they fight me at bedtime every night?

Hi there mama!

I bet you are...

 Frustrated.
I am so done with fighting bedtime!
Impatient.
Will my child ever sleep?
Overwhelmed.
How do I get anything done?
Concerned.
I have no idea how to get my child to sleep, is this affecting them?

There is no sleep manual for a child let alone a parenting manual, but that's what I'm here for! Those first 18 months were difficult enough and you need a breather. I will give you all the resources you need to set the right expectations and prepare you for the journey ahead to better sleep!

Let Me Prepare You For Quality Sleep.

The first 18 months of a child's life is challenging for parents and they will do anything to get their child to sleep as well as themselves. Unfortunately that means repetitive tactics that might mean tricking your child. This creates associations for your child making them believe they need you in order to fall asleep.

They just need some confidence to fall asleep on their own and it's not your fault! But we need to get you back on track to better sleep! With the right balance, support, and approaches, you can create quality sleep for your little one and the entire family!.

  • I was so skeptical of sleep training, I actively avoided it for 10 months.

Our baby has had medical issues and we had been cosleeping and contact napping. But I’m so glad that we found Selina and Independent Sleepers - she not only gave us good sleep (for baby and for parents), but she gave us our whole life back! Her process was very comfortable and I still can’t believe how available she was. She would text me live while our baby fell asleep every night, check in for nap time through out the day… she is amazing, empowering, and her methods work. Our baby has slept 12 hours every night even through teething and had consistent naps since working with her. We are so grateful and recommend her to anyone looking to have baby sleep well and mama and daddy not feel like zombies.

  • Working with Selina has been such a great experience. She is truly a lifesaver.

My son has been a terrible sleeper since day 1 but I was not ready for the 4 month sleep regression. I used to nurse him to sleep and do contact naps during the day and during the night I would have to replace his pacifier every 20-30 minutes and nurse him every 1.5-2 hours. I wasn't getting any sleep, I was anxious and frustrated.

My son now sleeps for 11-12 h a night and is taking good naps during the day. Most importantly he learned how to self soothe and fall asleep independently.

Selina was amazing during this process, she is empathetic, responsive, and she patiently helped us with every challenge that arose because my son did not make it easy for her.

  • These gals (Shelby and Selina) have given my husband and I our lives back.

We’re so grateful for the work leading up to the training, their reassurance during the training and literally being there every step of the way. My son was 10 months old, nursed to sleep and co-slept since he was about 3 months and he LITERALLY is sleeping in his own crib, in his room independently and without any feeds. The process is gentle, well researched and does not for even a second feel like you’re doing something wrong. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

  • We LOVE Independent Sleepers.

We hired them this month for gentle sleep training for my 15 month old (now 16) and we went from assisted naps and multiple night wakings to a toddler that can fall asleep independently in 1 week. Their support is very personalized (unlike most sleep training courses out there that are prerecorded and involve little to no human interaction with the expert) and that is what I love about it the most. I 1000% recommend them!!
